Hi, I'm Lori — an educator, curriculum designer, entrepreneur and mom with more than 14 years of experience in education.

With an M.Ed., MBA, and B.S. in Communication Studies with a minor in Leadership Studies, my career has crossed both education and business - from classroom teaching across all subjects, STEM and project-based learning to leadership, sales, marketing, events and community outreach.

I created The Discovery Lab and Learning Center because I believe children need more than academics alone.  The most meaningful learning happens when we inentionally develop the whole child - academically, socially, and emotionally.  

Here, children are encouraged to think, create, communicate, collaborate, problem-solve and take meaningful risks in an environment where they feel known and supported.

My goal is not simply to teach children what to learn.  It's to help them discover what they're capable of.
