About The Lab...
The Discovery Lab and Learning Center was created with one goal in mind: to provide children with a place where learning is exciting, friendships are meaningful, and curiosity is celebrated.
Our thoughtfully designed 900-square-foot learning center features multiple themed spaces, each created to inspire exploration in a different area of STEM and discovery. Rather than sitting at a desk for an entire class, students move throughout the space as they investigate, build, experiment, and collaborate in an engaging environment designed just for them.

Every session is a social, structured, hands-on learning experience led by a certified teacher. children learn alongside peers in their age group while participating in activities that are adapted to their individual abilities, interests, and confidence levels. Small class sizes allow every child to ask questions, think critically, solve problems, and experience the joy of discovering something new.
About the Founder

Hi, I'm Lori Lerman, a Florida certified educator with more than 14 years of classroom experience, plus many years working with children through camps, youth organizations, and comunity programs.
I created The Discovery Lab and Learning Center because I believe children learn best when they are actively engaged, asking questions, solving problems, and building confidence -- not simply memorizing information for a test.
Every session is intentionally designed to inspire curiosity, encourage creativity, strengthen academic skills, and help children develop meaningful social connections in a supportive small-group environment.
My goal is to create a place where children love to learn and parents know their child is being challenged, encouraged, and truly seen.
